Meanwhile, production of the 2022 GMC Sierra HD will begin on July 12th, 2021, ahead of the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The 2022 Sierra 1500 is expected to arrive in dealerships by the end of the summer. We anticipate pricing to be similar to that of 2021. The base price, including destination, currently ranges from $31,295 to $56,990.
A fresh exterior design, with a redesigned rear and front fascia, new wheels, and new paint options, is due to arrive with the launch of the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The dashboard, center stack, center console, and gauge cluster will all be redesigned, with the option of a fully digital readout. In addition, the column shifter will be replaced with a new digital gear shifter. In addition, the GMC Sierra 1500 will offer the latest tech features, such as infotainment and GM’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system, which will enable semi-autonomous drive and towing.
Keep in mind that these schedules are prone to change, as the ongoing global microchip shortage may impact the entire industry’s production.
